I've heard a lot of people having issues adjusting their brightness ingame on Windows 10. The easiest fix I know is by installing a different renderer and playing with that.
Fix:
1) Go to kentie.net/article/d3d10drv/
2) Download and install the following two files shown on that page: dxwebsetup.exe and vcredist_x86.exe
3) Download and unzip (use WinRAR or 7zip to unzip) the following file: d3d10drv-v29.zip
4) Open the extracted folder and find the Rune folder
5) There should be 2 files and 1 folder (D3D10Drv.int, d3d10drv.dll and a d3d10drv folder)
6) Copy and paste those files to your current Rune installation System folder (Rune/System)
7) Open your Rune.ini with a texteditor such as notepad and add the following lines to the bottom of the file:
8) Save and close the file
9) Start up your game, open your menu and go to Options -> Video
10) Find the first line ''Video Driver'' and click on the change button, then press ''Yes'' to confirm
11) A new menu pops up, click on Show All Devices
12) Find Direct 3D 10 Support and select it, press ''Next'', ''Next'' and ''Run''
13) You might have to change your resolution and brightness ingame for optimal play
14) Enjoy!
